Cosmetic dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is concerned with the colour, shape and harmony of your teeth. The aim is a smile that looks natural and suits your face.
Depending on what you would like and the condition of your teeth, the plan may involve professional whitening, reshaping with composite materials, or ceramic veneers. Before any cosmetic treatment we talk through your expectations and what is realistically achievable, so that you can decide with full information.
The information on this page is general in nature. What is right for you is decided after an examination and a conversation with your dentist.

Does whitening damage your teeth?
Carried out under a dentist’s supervision and according to instructions, whitening is considered safe. Temporary sensitivity is possible and usually settles within a few days.
How long do veneers last?
Their lifespan depends on the material, your hygiene and habits such as clenching or grinding. At your examination you will learn what to expect in your case.
Can I see what my smile will look like beforehand?
For some treatments a trial preview can be made. We discuss this at the consultation.
